Question 1

How much does a website cost?

Accepted Answer

Four packages: The Landing ($500, a single-page site), The Local ($900), The Signature ($2,500) and The Flagship ($8,000). Every site includes hosting from $15/mo, and every project starts with a short intake form on our site, and we reply with next steps within 48 hours.

Question 2

How fast can my website launch?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the size of the site and how quickly your content comes together. Your quote includes a timeline, and we keep you updated at every step.

Question 3

Do I own my website?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you own everything. The code, design and content are yours; we just host it for you.

Question 4

Where is Goodland Web Co. based?

Accepted Answer

Goleta, California: the Goodland. We build for businesses there and beyond.

Question 5

Do you host the website for me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every site we build is hosted. Hosting is $15/mo on its own (the Host plan), or bundled into a Care plan ($42/mo (upkeep + analytics, hosting discounted to $12) or a Grow plan ($75/mo) SEO and a yearly one-on-one strategy session, hosting discounted to $10).

Question 6

Do I have to update or maintain the website myself?

Accepted Answer

No, that's the point. On a Care or Grow plan you send us the change (new hours, new photos, new prices) and we make it for you. Edits go out three times a month: the 5th, 15th, and 25th: send yours by the 10th and it's live by the 15th, by the 20th the 25th, and from the 21st on, the 5th of the next month. Urgent changes go live within 48 hours, and critical fixes (a wrong phone number, wrong hours, a broken link) are always free. You never touch a website builder.
